Created between the end of the 1860s and the 1870s and restored in 1926 the town hall of Rocca San Giovanni was constructed on a square plan in a neo-medieval Lombard style. The building, one of the most beautiful and grandiose examples in all of the province of Chieti, has a charming porticato of three round arches on the ground floor. On the first floor three openings with round arches open onto a balcony with a balustrade. On the sides there are two identical windows. The central part of the façade created completely in square blocks juts out from the external part of the building. On the inside an imposing staircase leads onto the council room. Since 2004 the building has been the home of a collection of contemporary art including paintings sculptures and etchings.
