In the “Maurizio Locati” Visitors’ Centre in Lama dei Peligni, a large section dedicated to the Abruzzo chamois, equipped with educational panels and some dioramas, illustrates the environment of the rock fauna of the park. The upper floor hosts an interesting archaeological sections that allows to go back in the history of eastern Majella from today to the Middle Ages and up to prehistory. The “M. Tenore” botanical garden is divided into educational sections and sections that reproduce the vegetation environments of the Majella. Many of the cultivated species are endemic to Central Apennine or exclusively native to the Majella massif and its surroundings.
