The Museum allows visitors to imagine they are walking along a path that – due to its climate, altitude, geological, floral, and vegetation features – take them to the most picturesque and richest in biodiversity corners of the Majella Massif. The typical spots of the Park are illustrated with reproductions of the various environments, according to the different types of vegetation. The path starts from the ravines and continues along gorges, underground environments, wood, cliffs, mugo pines groves and prairies, up to high altitudes. Among the sections of the display rooms: the reproduction of a shepherd’s grotto and the habitat of the yellow-bellied toad, the audio-visual panel to listen to the calls of some typical birds of the Park. Finally, the Museum features a nice souvenir-stamp with animal footprints.
