The charming show of the Rio Verde waters falling from more than 200 metres is the amazing attraction of the Borrello Natural Oasis, at an altitude of about 700 metres in the medium course of the river Sangro. Rio Verde, dropping inside a deep valley, creates the highest natural waterfalls in the Apennines, which run on a large rock wall with 3 spectacular consecutive jumps. The area, covered by lush vegetation with powerful bastions of rock and steep cliffs, literally suspends the river until it is released into the falls.
