In Quadri old town there is the Church of San Giovanni Battista, dating back to remote times, but unknown and it was modified, especially in that part of the facade, in recent years. The entrance presents a wide staircase, which develops around the front of the Church. The façade, embellished by a stone basement, is divided into three parts, corresponding to the three naves of the interior; also the crowning tympanum indicates this tripartition, pointing out the different heights of the central nave and the side ones.
In the middle of the facade, between two large pilaster strips, there is the portal and, above, a circular window; at side ends the same pattern of pilaster strips is repeated.
The Interior of the Church, with a rectangular plan, is divided into three naves of different size: the central one, in fact, is wider than the lateral ones.
In the Church is preserved a precious wooden statue depicting a Madonna with Child Jesus, known as "Madonna dello Spineto"; particularly important is the Child, who according to scholars dates from the twelfth or thirteenth century. The sculptural group comes from a church no longer existing, which was situated in the homonymous rural village, where in ancient times a Benedictine monastic community had established . Some scholars believe that this community was founded by San Domenico Abbot of Sora, worshipped in Cocullo. In the same area were found the archaeological remains of an italic settlement.
